Am I the only one who thinks it odd that Muschamp didn't appear to know about Ford's intention to play basketball as well? The conversation implied to me that Muschamp hadn't even talked to FL's bball coach about potential options concerning Ford

VT CEE Class of 2016/2017

5 years, 2 degrees, 33 football games as a student, and 2 Cassell court stormings later, I bleed Maroon and Orange

Intriguing to me that basketball is more important to him than football. I know we've had a few guys play both, but I'd have to imagine it will be difficult for him to do that all throughout his career at VT.

Hokies United l Ut Prosim

I'm so stoked to have this kid.

I hope y'all hold me to high expectations because high expectations bring the most out of you.

That's exactly what I want to hear.

Here is the full video. Really impressive and at the same time humble kid, he just sounds like a Hokie.

In Sam Rogers we trust.

Thank you for posting this seems like a great young man, so glad he is a hokie!

Kid sticks to his decision even when Muschamp tries to swoop in late. Takes a lot of guts.

The Dude Abides

This was awesome!!!!!

'Its easy to grin, when your ship comes in, and you've got the stock market beat,
but the man worthwhile, is the man who can smile, when his shorts are too tight in the seat'

For all those that call out Beamer for not chasing kids throughout the recruiting process pay attention to what he says around 12:09. VT is going after kids aggressively. Times are changing.

Isaiah Ford seems like an intelligent young man. He made the best decision for his college career despite Floridas coach attempt to derail him. Hopefully he elevates both the football and basketball teams to championship levels.

HokiesFTW123- Great post and thanks. Kid reminds me of Brandon Facyson from looks to personality to build.

I have high expectations for this kid. I expect him to average 40 points a game in both basketball and football. I expect him to block 10 shots and 30 cornerbacks per game. I expect him to be the starting kicker so that he can drain 3 pointers on each field. I expect him to double major in Chemical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

Dude, come on!

It's not like he's a TE or anything.

I expect him to eat Chick-Fil-A on Sundays.

Beautiful. I'm really looking forward to French's take on Isaiah's skills. I hope his skills match his demeanor, he's very impressive in that respect.

Great vid. Excited about cheering for this kid on/off the field and the court. Seems to have a really good head on his shoulders and WANTS to be a Hokie.
