....and will now be called the Duck Commander Independence Bowl after agreeing to a sponsorship with the Robertson's of Duck Dynasty fame. Really pays to be good at supplying the redneck world with hunting calls.
Apparently they are also sponsoring a NASCAR race going forward as well, agreeing to the Duck Commander 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.
I bring it up as we have the potential to play there, as its an SEC-ACC agreement from 2014-2019. Hopefully it never comes to this with how far down the order this bowl is.

Scarily enough I understand that Terry Bradshaw was his backup QB at Louisiana Tech. Robertson turned down the NFL to make duck calls.

Back then NFL didn't pay that well.
If you go to one of their secret fishing or hunting locations you get "Bradshawed". If you've seen the show, you know what I mean.
