Im just hoping we can get better than this past season. 7-6, 8-5, maybe we could make a jump to 10 games this next year.
That article is a bit misleading
Under London, they've been exposed by easy schedules. At least this year they know they're going to be bottom of the barrel before it begins instead of having delusions of grandeur that somehow they'll be competitive.
Several of my colleagues are loluva fans. I asked them if they were happy with their schedule. Overwhelmingly the response was, I hope the schedule/results are just bad enough to get London fired. They dont have high hopes for next season
If he didn't get fired after last year....
Their schedule is brutal, but I do expect they will be better. Their defense has some playmakers. If they can get one of their two QB's to be just game managers, I could see them doubling their win total.
But then you review that schedule an its tough to find wins.

So we really need to pull for UVA to beat UCLA, and BYU but then fail down the strech, not go to a bowl.
That way he has two major wins to keep his job for another year.
Going into the BlackFriday Bowl, 5-6; VT destroys their hope of a bowl game; End Result for LOLUVA: 5-7.
Yeeeeeah, if LOLUVA beat UCLA, I would weep heartily.
But think- it's the perfect set up. All of the wa-boo-hoo's will start talking a bunch of smack because of proposed win over UCLA, and then we can crush their dreams for the 11th straight time.
End result: Time Robo Cop keeps job another year and no bowl game.
The way the LOLUVA athletic department works, he gets an extension and raise for going 5-7. I mean, it's more than double his win total for the previous year, so it definitely needs to be rewarded...
