puts things in perspective..I hope a lot of LT haters read this article...Sure he's not T.Taylor or MV7 but he's done so much in such a classy way...He's not the QB we deserved...but the one we needed.

Batman reference? Turkey leg for you

No one will ever be able to Deny LT's Class or toughness.

That said, I'm going to be that guy and flip your quote around. I'd argue he actually is the QB we deserved and not the QB we needed. By which I mean his playing QB here was the product of ostrich-heading and looking the other way about the offensive coaching staff and hiding behing "10 wins!" for so long that offensive recruiting was allowed to degrade to the point it did that we eventually had no options but to play a projected TE at QB for three years.

He then was never able to make the progression from that promising Sophomore year performance due to continued, stubborn insisentence on retaining said offensive coaching staff and as a result he stagnated and even regressed in the role over three years. By the time Loeffler and Co rolled around, I think everyone can agree that it was far too little too late.

So, I think he's exactly the QB "we" deserved, by which I mean Virginia Tech. I'd argue that the only person who didn't deserve all of this was...him.

Yeah I'm totally with you..I was just semi-quoting Dark Knight..

Agreed, and beautifully put. We may have seen a different story for him if he were able to stay at TE.

NFL scouts put him in early rounds after so year, top three by most accounts after jr year, we'll see how this year turns out. Will be very dependent on Sr Bowl and combine. The kid has left the building, can't we all just cheer for him? He will be fine. If he finds the right situation I think he'll surprise on the upside. Glennon started and didn't play half bad this year. NFL needs strong armed kids willing to stick to a plan, lead, and play hard. Thats LT3 to a T.

Whats gonna happen next year when we don't have a bruiser at the QB position? Our offensive line is improved but it isn't ready for a pocket qb. Also how ready will our WR/RB be? I'm a little worried

read article title, thought to myself: 'well. . . yeah'
