According to an announcement from Coach Paul Chryst, Pitt junior defensive lineman Ejuan Price had season-ending surgery on a torn left pectoralis muscle sustained during a workout.
As a sophomore in 2013, Price was enjoying a productive campaign until he suffered a season-ending back injury in the Oct. 19 Old Dominion game. He played in six contests at defensive end (starting four) and totaled 23 tackles, four tackles for loss, one sack and one pass breakup. Price had a career-high eight tackles at Virginia Tech and posted four tackles with two TFLs against Virginia.
He was a projected starter at defensive end.
Tough break for Pitt. Wish him a speedy recovery.

Damn, tough break. Speedy recovery, Ejuan - see you in 2015.
He could've been playing for Foster...just sayin
Let's just wish him a safe and fast recovery for now.
I never said I was ecstatic he got injured. Of course I feel bad for the dude. All I said was that he could've played for Foster. Why would anyone on here not want him to play for Foster? Hope he gets better. Good competitor.
It just seems like a really negative thing to bring up when talking about a season ending (and potentially career-altering) injury.
Actually he didn't get an offer from VT so he couldn't of played for Bud without walking on.
You're correct. 7th ranked OLB according to 247 from the hometown.
Upvoted to try and balance out the hate.
Wishes for a speedy recovery and that Ejuan comes back better than ever.
Except for when he plays us.
Gotta be hard for a young man to have a productive start to his D1 career derailed by injuries. Hope he heals up soon.
As a Tech fan, I won't miss his productivity. As a person and a fan of college football as a whole, that's a heck of a bummer. Hope the kid heals up quickly and completely. Panthers really have their work cut out up front defensively now, trying to replace both Donald and Price.
