Sad news indeed.

sad hokie

I knew Darren personally. He was a man of deep faith, great character, and a talented videographer as well. Can't believe he's gone.

Now he's in heaven trying to explain what a Hokie is to everyone else.

I took a film class with him last semester and he was easily the most passionate filmmaker in the class. I'm heartbroken that such a wonderful Hokie is gone forever.

Some of my buddies who worked at Innovation Space knew him as well, they had incredible things to say about him. He'll definitely be missed.

I just sit on my couch and b*tch. - HokieChemE2016

I wonder if that's the old quarry near Radford. I got a trespassing ticket there back in '92.

It could be the one outside Blacksburg. The one where students cliff jump at.

From the news report I read last night, it was the one in Blacksburg.

Yes, VT Rescue reported that it was off of Luster's Gate Rd.
