-- Beamer said he thought his depleted o-line "battled" on Saturday against Duke, although it ended up giving up a season-high six sacks, the most since last year's Maryland game.
...
-- It wasn't all doom-and-gloom for the line. Coleman gave them a lot of credit for his big day.
"I want to give a huge shout out to the offensive line and coach [Stacy] Searels," he said. "They really made some holes for me this game.

Thanks, Andy. Great article.

Someone help me out here: hasn't the O-line been decent at pass-blocking but bad at run-blocking all season? Is this reversal of fortune due to a change in emphasis by the coaches, or the changes in personnel, or what?

"Our job as coaches is to influence young people's lives for the better in terms of fundamental skills, work ethic, and doing the right thing. Every now and again, a player actually has that effect on the coaching staff." Justin Fuente on Sam Rogers

Better not overlook Wake. If any ACC team is in danger of losing to these guys it's this Hokie team. If the offense can get a lead, any lead at all... it should be a win. However, if the Hokies come in all #threeandout, it could get interesting.
