I finished up editing this video today, highlights from Saturday's game just in time to get everyone amped for ECU tomorrow.
Not necessarily Billdozer standards but hope everyone still enjoys it!

Good job, like the audio drops from the announcers. I don't think I'll ever get tired of watching these clips. You could edit them anyway you want and VT still dominates. So vindicating!

I don't know if it was the music, the editing, or the fact that a week has gone by. This video cemented my opinion regarding the "Mission Completed" tshirts. That was a badass win and a badass game and every Hokie deserves to celebrate however the hell they want to.

Awesome video. Got chills when it showed brewer a little blurry in the foreground with CFB hands on his knees looking in from the sideline. See a disappointed urban and a celebrating Blacksburg was awesome too. Great music pick as well
Edit: a little teary-eyed when Shane gave Beamer a hug at the end. I can't think of a more deserving coach than CFB. After so many close games against big opponents and in big games this was nice. Glad he got the win, not only for us as fans and for the team and season but for him as a coach.

I gotta say it again that is a damn fine picture. Was it shopped at all? The colors look really vivid.
I don't know. I guess it's possible... I got it on the intertubes, the same place I get my womens, and I'm pretty sure they are all 'shopped.

That wrist, though, that's legit.
There are multiple files that could go into it to balance the difference in long hittng and colors. My wife takes two pics at once. One is a .raw file. Then you can lay over and change intensity levels. So shopped to some degree.

Awesome video, always nice to see the highlights again, and a really good mix of non-game footage thrown in too, both pre- and post-game. I really loved the use of "Time" as the music.
One bit of feedback: I really loved the choice and placement of the audio clips. The only improvement I could think of would be to ramp them in and out, as it stands they kind of come up suddenly and are occasionally a bit jarring. Doesn't need much, maybe a half second to a second at the front and back of each clip.
I debated doing that, and probably should have for a few of them. But I wanted to keep the clips as short as possible as well, with no dead noise, and the commentator voices filling all of each clip. But your idea is still a good one. Thanks for the feedback!
Well done. Not sure what you're editing in, but see if there are any audio transitions to do a slight fade in and out. You have a good eye for piecing the highlights together. The shot of Urban made me laugh out loud. The clip of Frank at the end was perfect.
Not asking you specifically, but I've long wondered if I could get digital copies of Bill and Mike's radio call. I've never really dug deep, but if anyone has any good ideas - might be cool to have those for highlights now and again.
Yeah I edit in Premiere and I have the ability to use audio transitions. Just mainly used them on the music for this video as far as blending audio levels.
Not sure where to find the archived radio calls for Bill and Mike, though I'm sure someone else on the site would know.
