I really hope we're not in a position where we have to play Big Lu for this one. This should be a real physically taxing game, like usual, and it's best those Hokies that are banged up be able to rest.
Its very doubtful VT gets to another slow start against an ACC foe.
god I hope big Lu can play. if he can't we really need the #2 guys to step up. we need his experience with the gt offense, but I really don't want to see him get hurt.
I wouldn't be surprised if the GT players try to take out his knees even more than usual after this update. GT should really be called #CBU.
I'd rather see Luther sit this one out than get hurt. And I'd really like to sneak Kyle in somehow to do his Kyle thing. Think anyone would notice?
Also interesting to note - Kalvin Cline, Carliss Parker, and Jonathan McLaughlin are NOT on this list.
Pretty sure McLaughlin had to come out Saturday.
Also very happy to see Dadi wasn't on the list. He was holding one arm awkwardly in the last game.
great report from all the doom and gloom being thrown around all week
Glad to see Maddy as probable instead of doubtful. I'll breathe a little easier now.
So if Riley is replacing Facyson, who is filling in for Kyle?
I wonder if rvd will take the true whip spot this year since that's the spot Kyle played last year in this game. if rvd's healthy I can't see why he wouldn't
I've been jonesing to see RVD at whip since I heard both Foster and French rave about him his freshman year. But I'm not so sure the right time to have him take the reins at the position for the first time is against Georgia Tech, where traditionally the whip has been the make or break position against GT. (Yes, I know technically the last couple of seasons it's been the nickel back, but nickel back and whip are basically interchangeable.) Then again, if Foster trusts him and he's finally 100% good to go full steam as whip, might be a nice wrinkle to throw at CPJ.
Do you think Maddy starts or they sit him for the beginning and see how the game goes?
It'd be great if we get up big early and he can rest for an extra week.
