I'm so excited and nervous for this weekend. Go Hokies!

thanks Andy, loved the article. clicked on it 10 times for you.

Trying really hard not to get too worked up and excited, no promises if we beat * this weekend though, then the full homerism will be out in force...

I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:
“I served in the United States Navy"

Not much you can do about it. That's one of those deals where you've just got to shake it off and keep attacking.

This quote is really telling about Brewer. Master chess players, and anyone who is a competitive gamer, know that you always have to be attacking. Even when your taking a strategic retreat, look for a way to get an attack in.
He reminds me of Ice Man from Top Gun - playing mistake free and always looking for the kill shot.

And... I have the feeling that, although he plays conservatively and protects the ball, if a momentum shift is needed, or a big play, Brewer is savvy enough to know when to put the team on his shoulders and JUST talented enough to make the play.

exactly what he did on that third down and 12 this past weekend. He moved up into the pocket kept his eyes down field and then swoosh his inner Vanilla Vick took over and we got the 1st!

I like where this team's collective head is at. They are young, but they came together. 9 different receivers catching passes? That is impressive, I don't care who the opponent is. Gives anOSU some different looks. They know who we want to go to, but they also know we can mix it up and hopefully play with minimal mistakes. Can't wait for Saturday.

Great article, Andy!

Agree with others - really like what I'm hearing from Brewer.

More than a win next week, I just want to see improvement.

They have the tools to make all this work. More playmakers at more positions that we have had in a long time. I don't expect perfection, but I'll be extremely happy with some real improvement in the fundamentals. I'd love a win at OSU. But if we just see evidence that everything in this offense is headed in the right direction, it's going to make a shot at Charlotte a lot more promising.
