Virginia Tech's starting stud d-end Dadi Nicolas was helped off the field with 11:28 left in fourth quarter yesterday. Dadi assisted Chase Williams tackle Western Michigan running back Jarvion Franklin, but appeared to favor his right leg and could not get up on his own.
According to Nicolas, he's OK.
I wanna thank Hokie nation and everybody that was worried about me after getting assisted off the field yesterday I am perfectly fine!— Dadi Nicolas (@YYBAQB) September 28, 2014
It's unknown what the extent of Dadi's injury was, or what his practice status is this week. Per ACC guidelines, Virginia Tech releases its injury report on Thursday.

Yeah, I want to hear what Frank's Doc says and what color jersey he's wearing this week at practice.
Unrelated, but that photo has a guy wearing a hat with the old TV logo. Have they un-retired it?
That is Mike Goforth wearing the hat. They are allowed to still wear them, just can't make any new stuff with the logo.
On campus emporium's website there are several new retro logo shirts and sweaters.
Can Whit or Sands bring back the old logo and the old gobbler? We can't let something that was part of our history at VT be 'retired.'
Brett Favre agrees
Right on. I did get a new Fighting Gobbler hat before it was retired.
They replayed the play his injury occured on, he got his leg whipped into another player on a tackle. It looked like possible hyper-extension. I'm sure he's being evaluated, hoping 4 positive news.
great news. the defense cannot afford to lose another DL, especially one as productive as Nicolas.
Anybody see what color jersey he's wearing at practice?
