Report Ohio State Fans For Standing!

It seems only appropriate to post this CBS article considering some of the recent discussion here (and to also serve as a warning for Hokie fans making the trip to Columbus this weekend). Apparently, Ohio State's policy is against fans who stand during game play and they can now be anonymously reported via text. Here is the important part if you want to skip the article:

To control the extra fans, game staff members will be ready to resolve problems instantly and will let fans report issues directly to them from their smartphones. Fans can text BRUTUS' to 69050 and stadium staff or police will respond to your issue. That includes fans who are misbehaving, swearing, inebriated, or who do not sit during game play. Law enforcement officers add that they want fans to report any suspicious activity.

I know this is a point of contention with many fans here, but I'd have to guess that most stadiums have a similar stance and side with those being "disrupted" by those who choose to stand. If you're going to Columbus this weekend for the game, you might want to exercise caution about when you stand, especially if the game is not going well for the home team. That being said, this also seems to open the door for any opposing fans visiting the 'shoe who want to anonymously report a few obnoxious or unfriendly Buckeye fans.
