I wanted to give this thread a positive title because in actuality this is an extremely negative post. Tonight I sat in section 5c and couldn't be more disappointed In the OSU fans that sat in section. The majority of people in this section sat on their hands all game long and the ones that did stand probably only did so because I was standing in front of them. On the other hand, the hokie fans practically took over our stadium at times. Their 5k or so contingent easily out yelled our so called home deemed advantage for the duration of the game. I have to give them credit but I am more than saddened by the home crowd for this one. Did anyone else have a similar experience?
Wasn't there, but there was a whole lot of noise being made for VT tonight. To the point I had to ask myself if we were the home team or not. Could have used the Blue Jackets fans who were cheering like crazy even when they got down 4-0 vs Pittsburgh.
Good job everyone who made it to the game!

I can't say what it sounded like on the field or on TV because I was way back under the upper deck (what they call their 'B' deck), but we did our best to be damned loud in my section (10B). I was really surprised at how little noise the 100k OSU fans made.
I was in Lane for the '03 Miami game, which was the craziest I've ever seen it. We need to top that game when the buckeyes visit Lane next year!

I like the a-hole thumbs when describing the Hokie fans going nuts. Not trying to troll, but this was a funny reaction.
"Hey she looks pretty hot. She looks devastated".
Sounds like every girl I ever dated after I hit 3rd base, but yeah, I get where he's coming from.
That wasn't really a bad meltdown. Pretty much sounded like me talking w/ my best friend after several losses last year.
Not really a meltdown at all. The guy was actually pretty calm and cool.
edit: at least when comparing to my kind of meltdowns.
haha that was actually really entertaining. strong closing as he shows his true feelings towards mark may.
