I think we finally have a good offensive coord to go along with THE BEST def coord in the country. Hats off to lefty and to brewer who is 1 tough ambrea.
yeah, and I think that, in large part, led to his fumble down there.. he was really slow to react to a passrusher that it looked like he should've seen the whole way

Brewer won't be announced with a concussion. At least not anything that would keep him out of a game. I'm not sure the NCAA protocol. He might have gotten one, though. Credit to Frank for delaying as long as possible with the request for a first down check, etc. as he could. If there was any doubt prior, one thing is certain - Brewer might not be the NFL protoype in size, but the sonuvagun has got heart. Dude is tough as nails.
Had to LOL, though when we were backed into our own end zone, practically, and Brewer saw the play clock evaporating. He signaled Farris to snap the ball, except Farris was busy having some freakin' conversation with whoever, and wasn't paying attention. Brewer was stomping his foot and clapping his hands like he was in Riverdance, LOL. Farris finally woke up and snapped the ball. I was cracking up. I was panicked, but laughing at the same time.
THAT was the only time in two games I saw Brewer frustrated. Not rattled, but frustrated. He's one cool hombre.

Like I said, I was panicked, but yes, laughing at the image. I could just imagine the phrasing that Brewer was going to use afterwards in describing his 'displeasure' over the incident. I half expected Brewer to jog up an put a cleat in Farris' butt.

Brewer is a tough as they come.
Brewer is one tough motherf*cker. Played his junk off for his teammates.
Although I strongly suspect he 'had his bell rung'.
This is the first time I can recall, since I started at VT in 2000, that we've had an actual QB. Like a full-blooded, pure-bred QB.
Yes, I think we'll get news of a concussion tomorrow.
If so, how fast can he return???hmmmm....

If I ask Brewer to shoot a turkey that I call in for him (on National Forest), I have two concerns...
A.) Is that inappropriate benefits for a student athlete?
B.) Is it bad that our kickass quarterback hunts our mascot?
Just want to make sure everything is on the up and up.
