"Become part of Cassell Coliseum in-game entertainment"

According to hokiesports.com, Bill McChain will no longer be serving as PA announcer during Men's Basketball games. He will continue with being the "Voice of Lane" and a couple other sports, but this is a pretty big change up for the marketing department. This is a little bit of a surprise, but a very welcome one. For anyone in the area that is interested, the details are in the link above. (Pretty sure it is a paid position, plus added benefits of being courtside and a pregame meal.)

I went a different direction with that title. So...I guess I don't have to brush up on my exotic dancing after all...

When the VT athletic department did this for football, they got LOTS of applications and qualified announcers.
