Sophomore guard Ahmed Hill is back at practice.
After 1 week of being released back to practice, @MedHill_13 is trying to show me his bounce is back?!

Hill had surgery in August for a partial tear to the patella tendon in his left leg. He hasn't played in a game this season, and his game status is still unknown.

Bring him back!
With all of the transfers and playing coming in and out of the program, I forgot Ahmed Hill was a person.
Depth is an amazing thing, isn't it?
Certainly something new for VT basketball.
We would probably be 8-2 or 9-1 if we had him. He is the best wing defender on the team and his energy is contagious.
While Ahmed practices dunking, I hope the rest of the team is practicing free throws........or maybe we're working on this:
I'm imagining Hill doing this from the bench in street clothes.
i dont recall the game or the year, but I think we had a play very similar to this a while back
I know we did a few years ago on an intentional miss. Eddie made the dunk. It was on an uncalled infraction.
I was thinking Eddie was involved, and remembered the intentional miss
Any update on the Ty Outlaw situation?
Didn't he have heart murmors or something? I've heard he can't play for a long time
#sauces
The only thing the program has made official is that Outlaw is redshirting this year due to a medical condition. I have heard the same rumors that it is worse than that but until the program puts it out its just #sauces. I hope they take their time with Hill, and lean towards a redshirt season because having three more seasons of him and Clarke together one year further into Buzz's rejuvenation makes more sense to me than having him back just for the ACC slate.
If there is one component of bball that requires practicing, it is dunking
Anybody know how long Johnny hamilton will be out?
I would guess that how finals went plays a big part in it. If he did enough to fix whatever the problem was with his grades before the end of the semester, than I would guess we would see him back at the start of next semester, or around January 18th. If he didnt do enough, than it may be a moot point, with the possibility of being academically ineligible. Nothing has been announced by the program so its tough to know exactly though.
He did tweet these the last few weeks though:
One other thing to note is that he has been dealing with the loss of his grandfather this semester, so there have been other things going on that probably played a role.
Thanks for the info.!!
They can actually let Hill play some games while trying to decide whether to seek a medical redshirt. I am not sure what the limit is.
