Sorry, guys, I know this is really out in left field, but I need to brag about a bourbon purchase I just made and I know you guys will appreciate it. I'm in Chicago for a business trip and there's a Binny's Beverage Depot four blocks from my hotel. Stopped by to see if they had Four Roses Single Barrel because its hard to find in my part of the state. They did, but they also had this:

I knew I had heard of the OESF recipe before but couldn't think where. I googled it in the middle of the store and couldn't keep myself from exclaiming, "Holy shit!" to all within earshot. OESF is the recipe they used for the 2014 Single Barrel Limited Edition. It's aged 11 years, and this is three months short. Those three months saved me 50 bucks.
Plus it was barrelled on my twenty-fifth birthday. How cool is that?

Nice find...the Four Roses single barrel is one of my favorites.
I'm thinking I just might have to wander over to your tailgate after we beat tOSU again for a little celebratory drink.
I can think of no better use for it.
