OT: Enter Sandman

Last song I heard this morning coming into work on the radio, not gonna deny my car might have been swerving a bit as I was jumping up and down in my seat. Its a sign, gonna be a great year. GO HOKIES!

I hear it everyday in the morning listening to the Junkies up here in NoVA

Bleeding burnt orange and chicago maroon

Was On 98 Rock this morning at 6am, only decent DC station unfortunately...

I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:
“I served in the United States Navy"

I like to listen to 107.3.... Plays a little mainstream, pop and 90's/early 2000's throwbacks

DC radio does mostly suck. I listen to Howard Stern in my car on the way to work, then usually DC101 in my office

"We were at the pinnacle, and we did it for years," Foster says. He pauses, nods, takes a deep breath. "And I did it with the best guy in the business."

I now have absolutely no ties to the song without Lane Stadium.

I occasionally here the song and it always jolts me with how unnervingly out of place it sounds because it has completely taken on the role of the atmosphere of Lane Stadium, it seems foreign to hear it anywhere else.

This is going to be great for the ACC.

I'm always surprised that I don't hear a roar of 67K people just before the lyrics start.

"What are you going to do, stab me? - Quote from Man Stabbed

To the best of my knowledge, this was the first time my daughter heard Sandman. It's in her blood, people.

Wow! Excellent. She's in perfect time as well. Future band member/cheerleader maybe. Sweet!

Pain is Temporary, Chicks Dig Scars
Glory is Forever, Let's Go Hokies!!

But the real question is why isn't wifey jumping as well?

"These people, are losing their minds! This is beautiful"

You guys will hate me, but I always thought that The Rooster by Alice in Chains would be a better fit. Slow build. Poultry reference. No matter the outcome, persistence always. Those kind of things. Sandman for any day game just is weird.

I know there were smatterings of Empire March from the band on sacks. I wish that would be an every sack/TFL/pass defensed occurrence. I loved hearing that after a JC Price sack circa 1995.

Five star get after it 100 percent Juice Key-Playing. MAN

I mean, it was always a wish of mine to have this song played by the band after every big run...
