ESPN was at WVU because Kevin White is the #1 receiver in this draft by many pundits. Sports networks want to cover events where marketable athletes are going to be showcasing their skills. Sorry, but Byrn isn't marketable compared to White.

VT has NEVER allowed modern media into a pro day no matter how good the talent of draft able players is. So next year like Andy said when potentially 6 plus players could be drafted will VT still ignore media during pro day? I bet plenty of media will want to cover it.

I think there's one or two holdovers from the "That's how it's always been done" crowd that keep it closed.
I'm curious if they're going to keep it closed when they move into that palace next year, especially when you've got Dadi, Luther, Marshall and maybe Kendall, Ekanem and Bucky as possible NFL prospects. There's going to be a lot of media interest next year.
