Coach Beamer just announced that Dadi will be suspended during the 1st half of the UVA game for hitting the ref's arm. The backups better be ready to play. Vinny Mihota it's your time to shine.

Was anyone else shocked that Dadi wasn't ejected after that?
I was- hell, I thought Foster should have at least taken him out.
Me, thought he was immediately going to get tossed. Think that a suspension for the first half is very fair, I feared that he would be suspended for the whole game.
OK, he'll be especially pissed and fresh for the 2nd half.
Matt Johns is in more trouble than he thinks.
I used to think that contacting a ref like that was against the rules but then I saw Jameis do this last year
So I figured refs were more lax about that rule nowadays.
I forget how much I despised Winston until I see his clips again. I don't know him, but there is a clear indication in his character from his many actions and I would be ashamed to have had him on my team.
While I agree with the suspension and don't condone his actions, he was only showing Ron how all of Hokie Nation feels about his BS.
I was in a state of shock when he did it. In certain situations, regardless of how upset you are, it's second nature not to act a certain way or perform a certain action. Putting your hand on a ref during a sporting event as a player in a harmful way is one of those things.
