You've got to hate that for the two kids that transferred in (Lee & Lewis) so they could have a solid chance in the tourney. However, they knew there were storm clouds on the horizon.

Here's my beef with this whole deal. The kids are the one's who will suffer the most here. The coaches get to keep doing their thing with no real ramifications while these young men miss out on some key opportunities to continue to showcase their talent and work for a National Title.

Is coronavirus over yet?

The graduate assistant at the heart of this scandal had moved on to become an assistant coach at another school. When the prostitute at the center of this came out on TV several months ago, the GA/now coach "left" his job to deal with this. He won't be getting his job back more than likely and may be done as a coach for good.

This issue is still being investigated both by the NCAA and criminally is my understanding so you could still see criminal charges come about. As far as Pitino is concerned, the school is saying they couldn't prove he was involved in this incident but they are acknowledging the events in question did probably happen thus the self imposed ban. It's merely an attempt to mitigate any punishment the NCAA might hand down. It's at the discretion of the NCAA to hand down punishments in the event of coaches maybe not being involved but should have known what was going on. There is unfortunately no time line from the NCAA on when they might rule on this issue.

How the F does Pintino get off with no punishment at all? I understand the post season ban I'm in the minority in that I support them but how does a coach not even get a reprimand from this?

This is just self imposed. I don't believe the NCAA has made any decisions in regards to punishment.

I have no idea why my username is VT_Warthog.

Arkansas blew a 24-0 lead in the Belk Bowl.

L'Ville should sanction their own coach.

It's pretty obvious that this ban is an attempt to satisfy the NCAA in hopes that they won't punish them anymore. They usually are. No point in punishing specific people yet. I also don't think Pitino is the only one to blame, even if he did know it was going on.

Go check out https://twitter.com/NoEscalators. His timeline is from the perspective of someone who writes a UCONN blog. I agree with a lot of what he says. The timing especially. The Protection of the financial portion of season tickets, etc.

Let's GO!!!!!!!...

Isn't buying hookers for a minor a crime in Kentucky?

Sometimes we live no particular way but our own

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- At least three former University of Louisville men's basketball recruits have confirmed to NCAA investigators that they attended parties inside an on-campus dorm where strippers danced for them and prostitutes were paid to have sex with them, a source close to the NCAA investigation told Outside the Lines.

The source said the three former Louisville recruits met with NCAA investigators in October and November. Chuck Smrt, the person hired by the University of Louisville to monitor the progress of the NCAA's investigation, also attended those meetings.

This just keeps getting more and more interesting.
