Lot of teams focusing on shutting down Ford, Phillips, and Hodges so I think CJ is bound to have a big game.

Fire Whit.

That and with the weather like it's supposed to be, I could see a lot of dinks and dunks to the slot

And jet sweeps. I've been wondering why we haven't used Carroll more on those, since they keep talking about his speed.

Question: Haven't taken a close enough look, but how much special teams does Sam play? I see he does have some KR yards in the season stats...but haven't paid close enough attention to notice. Is just me that's feeling a set up to him getting the #25 next week for Senior day against the whos??
***Not at all implying that CJ isn't a worthy selection this week, he has definitely filled the PR duties well. Just general curiosity**

.

Sam plays on both kickoff teams (he's the one you'll likely see telling the deep returner to take a knee in the end zone). I think he also plays on the punt return team.

yeah he's the upback, like diNardo was (don't ask me how I know diNardo was the upback)

Because of his run on a fake punt being our longest run against BC in 2014? Because that's how I remember it.

The Orange and Maroon you see, that's fighting on to victory.

Sam is back deep on the kickoff return team in order to tackle Stroman if he tries to bring it out of the end zone.......

CJ deserves it, he was one big positive I took away from the offensive play against Ga Tech. Got a lot of yards in garbage time as well. He has played really well in special teams as well. When I see him play I really only think of one other player that has ever played the sport... WILLIE BYRN perhaps?

Looks like CJ lived up to it
