Would this be worth taking the Amtrak down from NYC?

I could also visit my mom in NOVA.

71.2% of responders picked 8/24 as the date, 10 points higher than 8/17. A location still needs to be determined. First Down opted not to sponsor TKP this season. I'm all ears on suggestions there.

I've got a buddy who is a manager at Rhodeside Grill in Courthouse and he's a Hokie. They have a basement room as well. I'll see if it's possible.

I know they're sticking with LSU on Saturdays for now despite my friend's efforts. But I talked to him and he said they have nothing on the calendar for the 24th and that he'd reach out (I also linked this webpage). If there's no follow up in the next couple days please let me know here or through email!

EDIT: My friend said he has reached out. I gave him your TKP email. And I apologize for any typos - judging a beer competition and I'm starting to feel it.

I love Rhodeside. In season, is it still the Texas Alumni association bar? Years ago I was in there and the whole downstairs was full of Longhorns.

Me too! Sadly they're an LSU bar now. My buddy wanted to make it a Tech bar, but apparently the LSU fans bring them enough revenue 🤷‍♂️

As of right now, I don't expect this to happen. I was thrown for a loop when First Down decided to end its TKP sponsorship. For anyone who responded to the survey, thank you, and I will email you when I know for certain. My hope is to host 1-2 watch parties at potential locations for next season.
