One time I went to JMU on the weekend and got a little turnt' and kept trying to talk Gumby's into delivering a pizza there and then take me back with them. They didn't though...

"I just woke up," Bachman told NJ Advance Media in a phone interview. "And I'm thinking, 'Why the f--- am I in the car next to some random ass dude I don't even know?"

Last week, it was some couple who grounded their boat and it sank. They had started on their trip two days before, and had less than a week of sailing experience.
But someone wrote a very sympathetic article about how they invested their life savings and quit their jobs for the trip. At 26 years of age.

The thing about WVU is that the craziest kids there aren't even from WV. People go there from all over the country to just be absolutely crazy. All my WV friends who go to WVU are relatively chill (meaning they can handle their alcohol without ending up 3 states away from WV). With that being said, the WVU fans who don't go to WVU but are WV residents are pretty likely to end up in New Jersey if there was Uber in the holler.

Wow, $1600 for around 5 hrs of 'work'; that's drug company margins right there.
Would have been $800 but he asked for a "big car" upgrade.
Don't forget the 5 hours back.
So are you saying you wouldn't drive 10 hours for $1600?
Some of that goes for expenses.
Still, it's a great deal for a cabbie to get someone going that far.
$1600 charge to the rider, minus Uber's margins, minus the gas and tolls, minus the drive back.
Still a nice chunk of change but it wasn't $1600 bucks to the driver
nah, bro. He just needs to find a drunk Rutgers student from WVu who asks to be taken home then passes out in the backseat...
$1,600 to get out of WVU? Sounds legit.
"Take me home, country roads..."
"Somewhere else, I belong..."
Clever. What's the next line?
West Virginia, I'm a leavin'

*Dammit
I got the papa johns in main to take me back to maple ridge (with a pizza in tow) many times. Not as epic but I thought it was great.
I can't remember if it was Gumby's or Firehouse but we definitely ordered a pizza and then convinced the delivery driver to take us to a party.
The quotes in this link are hilarious

There's a gofundme if you want to help him out lol

the go fund me craze is a bit out of control.

Step 1 - Do dumb shit no matter the cost
Step 2 - Express sads on internet
Step 3 - Profit
I guess I am an old cynic. I don't have a lot of pity for people who do dumb things and then ask for others to assist them or give them money for it.
Good news is they rescued their Zima stash along with Muffy, their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Whew, dodged a major buzz harsh there.
Plus, believe it or not, gofundme gave them more than they spent on the original boat.
Ask, and ye shall receive.
The good news is so far nobody has actually given him money.
Well, at least I can say in all the dumb shit I've ever done while drunk I've never accidentally spent $1600 for a ride somewhere I didn't wanna go.
Can't tell if you meant "somewhere I didn't wanna go" as a dig at NJ but I certainly hope so...
New Jersey: The Armpit of America!
I'd pay that much for someone to drive me out of that gosh forsaken place also.
