Peas and Carrots were two out of a group of 50 exceptional turkeys raised for this event. And you can see that by looking at them. Together, they are known as "The Presidential Flock." After their good fortune today, Peas and Carrots will both live out the rest of their days at Gobbler's Rest on the campus of Virginia Tech -- good place -- where they will enjoy a beautiful private enclosure under the care of poultry science students and veterinarians.
This is supposed to be lighthearted, don't be a dick and bring politics into a TKP post.

Oh good, two new DTs in time for Friday!
This is VT news. And the OP mentioned nothing political at all. Be the adult and lay off the downvotes.
Edit: Scaled things back a bit.
Nobody has better Turkeys than us! Believe me!
Many people have told me 'Virginia Tech has the best turkeys, just the greatest turkeys'.
There are many great turkeys... on many sides
You have the white meat, just the best... and then the dark meat, let me tell ya, we have the best dark meat in the world right here, its just so juicy, I tell my staff, 'hey, look at this dark meat, isn't it the best?'... just the best....
And when you're a star, they let you do it. You can do anything.
Just grab them by the wattle.
When I first saw this I was like:

But I have to say everyone seems to have kept civil, as apolitical as possible and well... Pretty damn funny.
So then I was like:

and some, I assume, are wild
Of course. There aren't many things Republicans and Democrats agree on, but everyone can agree that Virginia Tech is a great place.
