Gambling Lines, Week 6

Back this week. And, I'd like to say a special F you to North Texas for last week for screwing over my "no way these teams can lose. Sure the odds suck but if I stack them all into a parlay I could get a nice return" bet. Hawaii even pushed it to 5OT just to do their part, but N Texas decided to shit the bed with a failed 2 pt conversion, missed FG, and blocked FG in the 4th quarter to bone me. It's like they were trying to lose or something.

Anyway, on to this week's odds.

  • Syracuse is only a 4.5 pt favorite over Pitt. For real? Syracuse by 2 TDs.
  • We lost to a team that is a 14.5 point underdog to Florida Atlantic. Let that sink in.
  • Clemson pissed off their starting QB then broke their backup. Surely they won't be heavily favored this week...oh wait, they play Wake. Nevermind.
  • Bama is a 35 point favorite again. They can't keep it up, can they? Nope nope nope. Not touching Arky +35.

Please do not take my ramblings as legitimate gambling advice. You will lose your shirt and anything else you're foolish enough to bet based on my idiocy. TKP does not encourage gambling and even if it did, I am neither employed nor sanctioned by Orange and Maroon Media, LLC so who cares.

I'm rooting for ODU the rest of the way.

Hokies, Local Soccer, AFC Ajax, Ravens

Bama will cover that in the first half, perhaps first quarter.

Amateur superstar and idiot extraordinaire.

They did that last week....then proceeded to not cover.

Obligatory comment to lay the points against Rutgers.

I'd take FSU and the points. Sure they are hot garbage but it's a rivalry game and their D can play. It wouldn't surprise me if FSU won outright.

I keep looking at that +12.5 (on some sites +13.0) and the rational side of me keeps thinking "why isn't it more. Hell, we beat them by 21, in their place", then my CFB memory kicks in and I remember that when ever on of those two is a serious dog vs the other, the team with the points not only covers, but tends to win outright.

Don't give up on your dreams.

Didn't Michigan just play Northwestern? I think you've got Michigan where Michigan State should be and vice versa

Georgia St, Clemson, Buffalo, and LSU all look good. Really glad I also took Miss St +7 against Auburn back before the season started.

That Syracuse line seems totally ludicrous......that is the closest thing to a lock I have seen this year

Which is why they'll lose outright. If it looks too good to be true...

Couple weird lines this week.

Cuse is only -4.5 vs pitt? LSU only -2.5? Parlay please.
