I hadn't really heard much buzz chatter about Robinson and the NBA draft...but according to this guy, he's one of the top PGs in the draft. Looks like Med is playing in the same invite only tournament (64 seniors are selected)
Virginia Tech @HokiesMBB PG, Justin Robinson, will work out for the Boston #Celtics today before heading to the invite-only @PIT_Basketball. Will be one of the top PG prospects in the #NBADraft.— Coach Shop (@CoachShopSJ) April 15, 2019

can they sign him now? /s we need some offense of the bench terry is in a slump of all slumps and itd be nice to have jrob learn under kyrie in the playoffs before he bolts for NYC.
Ahmed invited to PIT as well!!
So I've never heard of PIT, is it a big deal?
PIT is a pretty important event for prospects like 5 and Med, they need to have a strong showings to start improving their draft stock. To seniors that are already projected to be lottery picks, it isn't worth their time.
Last year Bibbs and Hill both played in this tournament. The tournament invites 64 seniors that have pro aspirations to perform. Every NBA team sends scouts.
i know that they have scouts on hands for all the teams but man could they get a better venue and put some more money into the uniforms, etc. it looks like a YMCA pick up game.
for what its worth the little bit ive seen too it doesn't look to structured from a coaching stand point. looks like just a group of guys playing pick up basketball. its pretty free flowing just go out there and hoop basketball.
I know we may only get 1 drafted, but I reaaaallly want to see all 3 drafted.
at this point, the only basketball bragging I could do at work is if we have more hokies drafted than LOLUVa. I don't see it happening, unfortunately.
Well Ty Jerome declared today, so it won't.
On a related note, Justin Bibbs made it onto the LA Clippers roster, picked up from the G-League on a 10 day contract in March, and I think they signed him to a second one right away. He's on their roster page so I guess he's on their practice squad for the playoffs.
Here are a couple highlight clips from his G-League days, and an interview with him once he made it to the Clips

Awesome vid man I had no idea. I want that jersey
Dude, me too. I'd love a Bibbs Red Claws jersey much more than a Clippers one.
The awesome thing nowadays is that if he doesn't get a fair shot at the NBA he has an opportunity to still make a lot of money playing basketball in Europe if he chooses.
Justin Robinson hit a buzzer beater three pointer to lead his team to victory in their first game of the PIT. He had 6 points and 10 assists.
Clutch! BOOM!
That's a lot of assists
ahmed scored 19 in his debut in the PIT last night.
highlights and story

Scrolling through espn I saw "stock watch after the Portsmouth Invitational", but it was an espn insider piece so couldn't read it.....they had JRob as the picture for the article. Wondering if anyone has heard any updates on how our guys did the last couple of days. Hoping JRob being in the picture means his stock is on the rise
Robinson's team lost in the Championship game 90-81. Robinson had 8 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists in this game. Robinson also had 9 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists in their second game.

After missing a chunk of Virginia Tech's season with an ankle injury
Well, now we know what the injury was.
Justin Robinson was one of the top 40 players selected to participate in the G League Elite Camp prior to the draft. Another chance for him to make some inroads with teams.
