Is Kerry Blackshear Jr a "Bigger" Buzz?

I couldn't help but smile the entire time watching this interview from KBJ. The way he talks about the team and even some of the phrasing he uses almost emulates our glorious press conferences and interviews with Buzz. You have to believe that what Buzz is preaching is being absorbed by the guys on the team, resulting in big team wins like last night. The guys are buying it and are all in. I'll tell you what, we have a good, yet somewhat unconventional, coach, in Buzz, and lets hope this team keeps it up into our last two games against FSU and Miami and then the ACC and NCAA tourneys!!

Blackshear's matured on the court faster than Mario eating a mushroom...

A lot of the clues and hints he left during the interview show that jrob is definitely coming back at some point which is a good sign for all the sky is falling jrob is dead crowd

Care to elaborate?

I'm still a firm believer (earlier post in another thread) that he'll be back for a possible game or two prior to the ACC Tournament.

A lot of his comments were "when 5 is back we will..." not "if we get 5 back we can..." Stuff like that. He even trailed off at one point when he said something specific about jrob being back, it seemed like he realized he shouldn't say too much. I'll have to go back and watch it

The only positive that has come from 5 being out is that KJB seems to have come into his own. I don't know if it is the scheme with JRob on the floor, or if it was KJB's confidence or willingness to be unselfish. But he has taken over in the last 5 games and become The Man. If anything, he needs to be MORE aggressive. In some of these games, he passes on shots when he is the only guy who can find the bucket.

It is beautiful to see because he seems like such a great guy to be #Winning.

And it sounds like the press, and hopefully the NBA, are taking notice.

He might be ACC Player of the month. He is certainly taking the lead during a time when we needed it. NAW is not popping off with the ballhandling demands, Hill can only impact the game to a degree. KBJ is playing out of his mind.

The fact that a Duke player left his feet to block a 3 when KBJ pump faked shows you that he is in total control of his game from everywhere. Limiting his dumb fouls and staying on the court.

Beast mode.
