Question regarding NCAA tourney tickets

So I can buy the full strip (sweet 16/elite 8) or just the sweet 16 day. I know the full strip is more bang for your buck, but is it possible to sell the elite 8 part of the ticket should I be left with that choice or once I buy the full strip i cant sell any part of it to another person? sorry I know it's probably a stupid question, but I want to be absolutely sure of the situation I'm getting myself into if I buy the full weekend strip

You might as well go to both Virginia Tech games.

Other question: Do Hokieclub members get a chance (depending on rank of course) to buy tickets to the Regional games like they had for first and second round games?

can we see the cost?

They'll really get after ya

$300

I'm assuming that's just for session 1? I'll try to call them tomorrow and see how the session 1 vs session 2 part is being handled

Both sessions - no matter what the outcome of the games are.

any luck finding out if the full session ticket can be split and resold? might not be able to stay around for the elite 8 so wouldn't want that portion to go to waste, and would also be nice to make some money back!

FAM!!! Sweet 16!!!

Unfortunately, the tickets sold out before they even got to the afternoon slot on the first day. So enjoy it the big HD TV. Good luck scalping.

Does anybody know if we can buy the tickets off the fans of loser of the LSU/MSU game who don't want to stay and watch the VT/Duke game? I have to fathom that some fans won't be interested in staying for the 2nd game if their team loses.

Like is there two game passes? Or is it just one for the whole session? I am thinking about scalping/buying it off the loser team's fans instead of buying it now on the secondary sites.

Since our game is 2nd on Friday night, we have that luxury to wait. I know my friend went with his dad to the elite 8 game when George Mason played in DC in 2006 and bought/scalped their tickets for $100.

Generally no, because it is one "session"- there is no break between games- well 20-30 mins- but not a session break. In my experience inbetween game scalpers are few and far between for sweet 16 games.

Correct. No re-entry since it's the same session.

makes sense with the no re-entry.

Any idea on being able to move down? It always seems like every game, the fans of both teams are always down low/behind their team's bench. I got to imagine some fans leave early if their team loses in the first game, opening up some seats for our game.

Let me ask you this as well.... Can the ticket/pass for the session only be scanned one time? What's to stop somebody who scanned to get in for the MSU/LSU game and wanted to step outside to take a smoke, and then wanted to get back in for the VT/Duke game? Will they not allow another scan on the same pass/session ticket?

answer...don't!

"Take care of the little things and the big things will come."

Be careful with Craigslist, saw some decent tickets on there yesterday, but all were scams. DO NOT SEND ANYONE MONEY. Ask to meet in person or no deal.

A rule of thumb I learned a long time ago is don't buy a physical ticket from a stranger unless they are willing to walk all the way up to the gate with you to make sure you get in. Offer them an extra $10 to do that and if they don't go for it then back out.

(Or if you get it so cheap that you don't even care if it's a scam but I don't think that applies this weekend)
