Last weekend was quite the roller coaster. I was convinced Maryland was overrated so I bet hard on Syracuse...Well we know how that turned out. Don't bet, kids. I resigned myself to a losing weekend, but somehow, thanks to UNC (+6), BYU(+3), and a Purdue/USF(+6.5)/aTm(+17.5) parlay, I managed to do a little better than breaking even.
Anyway, on to this week's lines.
- Wake (-2.5): Did I miss something? UNCheat beats South Carolina and Miami. Wake beats Utah State and Rice and this is a coin toss? I don't get it. Taking UNCheat (+2.5).
- anOSU (-14): anOSU just dismantled a good G5 team. Most seasons, I think Indiana is a G5 team. 14 seems way to small a spread and I expect this to grow, but I'm putting my money down now.
- UMd (-7): Temple is coming off of two convincing wins...over powerhouse Bucknell and perennial contender, BYE. UMd is coming off trouncing ranked Syracuse. Another line I expect to move, but I bet heavy on it before it does.
- LOLUVa (-7.5): It pains me to say it, but I think LOLUVa is better than FSU by double digits. For all the bitching on here about how close the ODU game was, we weren't "ULM missing a PAT in OT" close. Taking the fighting zimas to cover.
- Duke (-6.5): Not betting on this one, but all I can say is that if Duke truly plays it this close to MTSU, then we better knock the socks off of them in a few weeks. (this will not age well).
As always, please do not take my ramblings as legitimate gambling advice. You will lose your shirt and anything else you're foolish enough to bet based on my idiocy.
Lines may change over the course of the week. I also may have made errors copying them. Always triple check when money is at stake
TKP does not encourage gambling and even if it did, I am neither employed nor sanctioned by Orange and Maroon Media, LLC so who cares.

Not sure how I missed the Pitt-Pedo State game but it's on there now.
Also, just saw that USCjr's QB will have surgery. How is Bama only a 25 pt favorite there?
EDIT: Bama opened at (-21) and the line has already been moving so I guess I'm not the only one.
That Hilinski kid at USCe is good and Jake Bentley struggled severely against UNCheat. Don't sleep on the cocks. Can't imagine they win, but they're making progress (maybe even enough to cover)...
DISCLAIMER: These are the lines I was able to get, so slightly different from those posted above.
USCw only a 5-pt favorite @ BYU? They just put up 45 on Stanford. I'm hammering USC there.
OU only 22-pt favorite over UCLA? I'd expect Lincoln Riley to run up the score for Jalen's Heisman campaign.
Also on:
UF -9 @ UK
anOSU -14 @ Indiana
I pulled these at 4:30 this morning. I'm sure the rest of the country has woken up and started betting so there's no doubt the lines will look different now. Call this post fodder to start discussions.
That's what I figured. I always kick myself when I don't bet on Mondays before the lines move a bunch.
I bet on 4 road favorites. I'm sure that'll go well...
Wow, give me NCSt over WVU big.
Iowa over Iowa St.
Maryland over temple.
Those three look like easy money.
Iowa-Iowa St is never easy money, no matter the spread, no matter the talent disparity. That game is always pure, unadulterated, unpredictable, ass.
I'm 1-1 after Hawai'i failed to do me the nicety of tacking another one on at the end of the game. Shoutout to your 2-0 PAC 12 leading Rainbow Warriors though.
Maryland is only favored by a touchdown against a Temple team that was last seen getting exposed by Duke last bowl season. Give me the Turtles.
Soooo, taking them (+21) against Washington?
Oklahoma -21 @ UCLA seems like the lock of the week to me. UCLA is not good, and Jalen Hurts has been on fire so far. I'd easily take the Dirtburglars -28 in this one.
Think Louisville beats the brakes off of WKU. I'd also probably hammer that UVA spread. FSU is dirt rotten.
