Happy Festivus

This, the 23rd day of December, marks Festivus.

We've had a lot of problems this year, on and off the field, and now's the time everyone should hear about it. Alternatively, you can share your favorite Feat of Strength from this year. This might be mine:

So get out your Festivus poles and celebrate all the Festivus Miracles! Happy Festivus for the rest of us, TKP!

i'd say we should do an airing of grievances of thread but i've been around here for the last few months and i think we already got that covered

My sister is an ICU nurse in Washington state, where all of *hand circles air this started. Her feat of strength has been pulling double shifts for going on 11 months now and she's willing to beat a few people over the head with the Festivus Pole as part of her well earned airing of grievances.

Going to the gym today and going for my PR in the Sumo deadlift. If I achieve it I shall give thanks at the foot of the Festivus Pole for a glorious holiday.

I'm sure all the people of Washington would thank your sister for her selflessness if they could.

Amateur superstar and idiot extraordinaire.

Sumo's cheatin'.

I have a brother who was a physical therapist at the exact rehab facility/nursing home where the outbreak was first reported. He is retired now and was log gone by the time things happened, but was still ironic.

My sister is oncology ICU at one hospital and moonlighted at another ICU where the first cases went to. Her rant this morning was epic. I can't post it here due to the CGs, but I'm sure most can relate.

I gotta lot of problems with you people!

I love a good nap. Sometimes that's all that's getting me out of bed in the morning.

And your gonna hear it.

I hate it when there are 2 TKP threads and I have no clue which one to post on!

Another thing I hate are all of the virtual feel good/team building/don't worry we all love you ... events we have at work to keep fragile people feeling special. If you want to have them, fine, but make them once a month not weekly and have them clearly optional so those of us that are not snowflakes can get work done and spend the rest of our time with our families (those we are related to that we live in and those on TKP) rather than sending out weekly why we like you messages or spending them answering Hollywood trivia or doing show and tell - I am not making this up - with co-workers on Zoom.

Happy to say that I managed to sign up to donate blood late this afternoon and it will overlap with the last office Zoom party, so I am getting out of it that way.

SERENITY NOW!

I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:
“I served in the United States Navy"

As I reigned blows upon him, I realized there had to be a better way!
A FESTIVUS FOR THE REST OF US!

the beardless may form a queue; I will get to each one in time

21st century QBs Undefeated vs UVA:
MV7, MV5, LT3, Grant Wells, Braxton Burmeister, Ryan Willis, Josh Jackson, Jerod Evans, Michael Brewer, Tyrod Taylor, Sean Glennon, and Grant Noel. That's right, UVA. You couldn't beat Grant Noel.
