OT: Six Pick Week 14, 2020 Edition

Oh boy, week 13 did some damage. And some good... There's a 3-way tie for the lead now after I went 6-0 last week. Residing right next to Hokietopher and Lozo1016. Fencer is a point behind, and Ropp (who forget to pick last week) only 2 back. The NFL is playing next week, so that means college games will be available as well...so we should have 2 more weeks including this one. (Hopefully, as long as a bunch of games aren't cancelled. Even if it's not on CBS, we can do it here for the Final week next week.)

Some good rivalries this week. And interesting spreads. And off we go!!!

Navy @ Army (-6.5)
Navy hasn't ben able to get out of their own way lately. But Army hasn't really flown the flag of competent offense either. This gam always is about guts. And while Navy hasn't scored more than a touchdown in the last 2 games, I'm going with the Middies.

North Carolina @ Miami (-3.5)
Not a strong rivalry, but playing for a little something here...are they bak? They've dealt with the ACC switching schedules, making them play, hurricanes, hype, and all sorts of nonsense that comes with being associated with Miami....and they will send the jumpmen clad baby blues home a loser, both straight up and against the spread. (That still doesn't mean they are bak!)

Purdue @ Indiana (-10.5)
Feel good after calling the underdog straight up upset last week for the Hoosiers. Might be where the double digit line is coming from...but could also be coming from Purdue's 1-5 record ATS this year. Feel like this is an easy pick for Indiana. And they should be getting a lot more respect than they are. (Ranked behind Iowa St with 2 losses in the CFP standings? Wut? Their only loss is to anOSU by a touchdown.) Hoosiers. BIG!!!!

LSU @ Florida (-23.5)
Does LSU even show up for this thing. Their still playing with their trophy from last year. You had to go back to the 1930's to find a defending champ that was a 4 touchdown dog. And they still couldn't cover it. Or come close. I feel like they just are going through the motions and have zero desire to alter the Gator's crash course with Bamma. And despite Florida trying to Florida Man things up as much as they can, they will find a way to cover.

USC @ UCLA (+2.5)
While the Bruins have put together an impressive season ATS, USC might have done an even better job! Too bad they won't get an invite to the dance. They ain't played anybody Pawl. (Maybe we can get a blind date between USC and Miami to see who really is bak!) I feel like the Trojans win, and with 2.5, it has to be more than that. Give me USC.

Virginia @ Virginia Tech (-2.5)
Ugh. Why? I promised to include all the ACC games that CBS had to offer. They've been light on games, but include this one?!!! In the words of Chris Cater, Come on MAN!!! I hate that we have to pick this. I hate that this game could decide the season...for our pick-em, for the legacy of this team, for the Cup, for the coaches future. All of it. Sucks. Give me the Hokies....................something will flip a switch to get the Cup back to it's rightful place. It's been in a dark place for too long. VT. Let's Go!!!
