I am going to put this up early because I will be traveling back to Pennsylvania on Sat and Sun; and I won't have access or time to do this then. I hate to leave Florida; but it will be nice to be home again.
The Ladies play Louisville at the Yum Center on Sunday at Noon. The game will be on the ACC Network. Louisville is very good. They are 26-3 overall and 15-2 in the ACC. Their losses were at Ohio State, home to Florida State and at Syracuse. They currently have 3 players that are injured. Evans and Balogun missed the last two games and are game time decisions for Sunday. Dunham only played 14 minutes in their last game with a knee problem. It's possible they will play with a short bench against us to protect their injured players for the ACC and NCAA tournament. If anyone gets better information before the game, please post in the comments
Louisville's guards will be taller than ours unless Evans plays. Our front line should match up with theirs. Louisville has clinched the no 1 seed for the ACC tournament. Maybe there is a chance for a let down game against us. And we certainly have the talent to give them a game even if they play well.
Louisville is a good offensive and defensive team. They score 71.6 pts/game and only allow 55.1. They hold opponents to 34.6% overall shooting and 26.7% from three, while shooting 46.1% and 35.2%. If Kitley continues to play well and Shepphard and Mabrey can find their shots, we should be able to give them a game, especially if they rest the injured players.
Since I will be driving through North Carolina and West Virginia when the game is on, could someone post a reply around noon on Sunday to bring this to the top of the tracker.
Go Hokies!
