FSU football players effectively go on strike against coaching staff

Messy situation developing in Tallahassee

Little bit of backstory, due to the racial tensions currently exploding in the US, many public entities have spoken out, and that has turned into sports teams and personalities making statements as well. Well, recently this came to new head coach Mike Norvell in Florida State.

Yesterday he said he made a point of speaking individually with each player to discuss what was going on nationally, and that he took great pride in being a leader so that he could help kids in that kind of way. Except... that never actually happened. According to DT Marvin Wilson, the only communication they received was a mass text to the entire team, and now at least a portion of the players on the team are going to keep away from team workouts and events over those remarks.
