Back in January futrbechbum reached out to me with a neat idea. He wanted to pay for a deserving community member's entry into TKPC. Cover the cover. That idea grew into the "BUD" scholarship.
Subsequently, both CapeHokie and gobble gobble chumps wanted to know how they could help too. At the end of the day, the community nominated three deserving TKPers: twamp, Tyler Fanning, and ThunderingHokie (formerly jwillhokiealum). And all had Year One of TKPC covered. 👏

Not only did they did they hook up twamp, Tyler Fanning, and ThunderingHokie, but helped out TKP during a tough time when it's experienced a loss of revenues. Thanks all!

It's definitely gonna take a bit to get used to remembering thunderhokie = jwillhokiealum, just like it did getting used to "Granville" and "Little Bobby Tables"
That said, welcome to the gang gang. Jumping in to support someone was a no brainer for me, even going back to my own initial joining of TKPC in 2018. TKP is what it is because of the community and the content, and this is a simple way to support both at the same time!

I had a busy weekend and am just now getting around to seeing this. Thanks for being such an awesome community! I wanted to join for awhile but didn't feel like I could justify it until I was out of school and/or making a little more money. I am very excited about this and look forward to taking part in more detailed discussions about Virginia Tech!
