CMU Ohio lost the stadium lights with 1:17 in the half.

COVID rules: They're taking halftime now. When they come out, they're playing the final minute and then starting the second half immediately after.

Miami-NCSU is a Very fun game to watch so far.

DeEriq King is on his A-game tonight. Our defense is going to have to have a big game this week. Miami is getting big gash plays on some of these option plays and King is slingin' it right now.

Defense looks very porous for Miami though. I think we could be in for another shootout next Saturday.

We beat Hockman and Leary.

I think the amount of turnovers that our team generates kind of proves that it's not an anomaly thing either.

Michigan down by 17 at the half to Indiana. If the halftime leads hold up so Michigan is 1-2 and we are 5-2, what are the odds they get more AP votes than we do? I mean 1-2 Penn State will probably (still) be ahead of us if we are 5-2.

I was so confident in a VT win that I tacked the VT ML as a parlay onto every bet on my slip this week. As such I find myself significantly less interested in other games going on. FML

EDIT: and one of those bets was the ND ML. So angry...

It's kept me from losing money, on sports. And I won't be opening up my wallet for anything VT, until they commit to a coaching change in Football. That is the only sport I care about, in Orange & Maroon.

If they had a varsity hockey program, I'd donate for that, too.

I can. Penn State at 0-3 and Iowa State's second half comeback salvaged something out of the day for me. Oh and the weather was really nice for cycling too.

I have been thinking that ND is overrated as they traditionally are.

But they've shown enough moxy over the weeks to suggest that this could be an interesting game.

They have the talent, the size, and the speed to compete with Clemson. Lawrence not being there helps even the field.

And so far, ND is showing what I expected - they might not win but this year they can probably compete with anyone.

Notre Dame just got hosed on a picked up pass interference call. Led to a 4th down and probably the last change of possession with Notre Dame past midfield.

I'm not sure if you're ND you don't go for two. A loss here wouldn't be the end they've played really well all game and a tight loss to number one wouldn't change that and if you pull it off you get a huge win.

And another big blow to the ACC. Notre Dame just dropped Clemson from the playoff picture most likely. Covid taking Lawrence out makes you wonder how different this would have gone with him under center.

Clemson wins out and they are in the playoffs. If anything, it helps the ACC by now having a legit chance at 2 teams in.

With this year and Notre Dame probably meeting Clemson in the conference final, I dont see both teams getting in if the SEC and Big Ten teams have 1 or fewer losses. The lower number of games in the Big Ten could theoretically give you three undefeated teams going into the end of the season. The Covid schedule is going to leave some crazy results.

ACC is gonna get completely clowned on by the media if ND joins for a year wins the ACC then leaves. I have faith Lawrence won't let that happen though in the rematch.
