Football reaches out to NFL alums.

Wasn't sure where to put this but couldn't find a relevant recent thread.

I've never seen this kind of outreach to Tech players in the NFL before. Also this Twitter account is a great follow for people interesting in team gear.

Another notable tweet from him. Pretty good indicator that they are looking out for the players.

I'm pretty sure "breathing" is slightly more important than "avoiding diseases". The idea behind the face shields is to try to keep the air you're exhaling localized to the greatest extent possible while still allowing sufficient respiration.

This is a good step. I saw a video on twitter a couple years or so ago of the gear gift boxes Bama sends all their NFL players and wondered if we did anything similar. It's definitely something I'm glad to see we are doing now.

"Hey Bud, you wont have to hold the opponent to 17 points anymore."

It appears so, yes

"That kid you're talking to right there, I think he played his nuts off! And you can quote me on that shit!" -Bud Foster

This is a good thing. Gives them free VT gear to rock around town. Hopefully some of them post about it on their twitters or instagrams and VT gets some cheap (cost of a few VT apparel items) exposure to all their followers, many of which might be young HS players who look up to these NFL athletes. It's at worst a nice and inexpensive gesture to send our former players a few gear items, at best it's cheap and effective exposure for the program to future recruits.
