Hokies Gameplan Podcast Ep. 3 talking points

Laaser talked with Ham and Corn for a bit then Brock Hoffman was on for the 2nd half or so. Sorry for the rough notes, I took them while workings and listening but here were some of the talking points:

Corn and Ham both happy with progress since last podcast. Saw the development and improvements they wanted to see.

Names mentioned: Kaden Moore OL- for a young guy, he isn't having busts, even with the 1s. Still has work with technique sometimes but has been consistent.

Jaden Keller LB - Athletic ability to be a superstar. Hard worker, high football IQ for a freshman

A lot of talk about the process and benefits of the young guys going to the scout team. Practice against the 1s all fall helps propel them into a good spring while they develop (physically or mentally)

Talk of guys they expect to have productive season : Jalen Holston, Caleb Smith, Jermaine Waller is having a good steady camp.

Young guys: Lofton - they put a lot on his plate and he handled it well but they will take some load off of him and settle him into the slot for the season. (worked at Z some during camp)

Jack Holifield - Corn was really pleased with his transition to OL and they expect a good future from him in the interior OL as he develops

Praised Hilgart - players spend all offseason with him and he helps train the leadership of the team. Works out with Fuente everyday so those 2 are able to have the exact philosophy on the culture

Interview the Brock Hoffman: Talks about the leadership council that Fuente started in the spring. 12 players that are pushing the other players through summer workouts, camp and practice. Instill good habits.
Kaden Moore could be seeing the field with the 1s at RG.
