really wow, good for him. He was only a RS SO I thought.

4th Yr RS So. Covid jacked everything around

Just curious, does nobody wait to send in tape to hear back from evaluations anymore or am I under a rock and missed that they have gotten them bac already?

Tenuta is a mountain of a human being. Doubtful he grows any more. Is it possible he got advance word of who the O-Line coach is going to be? Or was he just waiting to make sure he graduated?

Likely a sign that his dad isn't being retained on the staff and since he's finished a degree, might as well move on.

^^^ This makes the most sense to me by far.

Almost every draft eligible player who either had a clear or fringe NFL future has decided to take the chance and declare. It's not uncommon after a major coaching shake-up. I think some of these guys had a good idea or outright plan for this to be their last year regardless. Our team is going to look a lot different next year for better or worse. However, there's a lot of time between now and fall camp to see who will end up on this roster for 2022.

I think what I like best about that, is we've only had one transfer, these guys are choosing to take a chance at the NFL and hold on to being a Hokie. This place means something special to them instead of the last couple years where so much of our roster just transferred away. It's like pry told them that he's hopes they stay but if they don't they'll forever be a Hokie!

I wonder if we get the Wisconsin OL coach if he changes his mind...could do wonders for his draft stock to stick around a year under Rudolph

1-0 every week

Is that a possibility? Because they have the best offensive lines year in and year out

Agreed but I think I could argue that their offensive lines are so good because they recruit dairy farmer kids for those positions. Easy to push around defensive linemen when you're used to pushing around cows.

As a dairy farmer who pushes cows and was a sub par high school offensive lineman, it doesn't translate as well as you'd think. I was all team practice squad D-end though because beef cows make great practice running backs!

That's the smoke on another board right now
