There's a lot of us in that part of the world. When I lived there is was almost as common a last name as Smith or Jones, but now that I'm out of SWVA I almost never see it. I'm probably related to the guy you knew somehow, and if not related I probably know him.

Yeah, I had the same thought. Who commits when you have no idea who the OC will be or the kind of offense they run? I get loving the school and the head coach and all, but I don't know, something doesn't fully line up for me.

How often does it happen that after a coaching change there's another commitment before a decommitment?

I'm sure there will be some guys that decommit and that's understandable but this is a huge early win and says a lot about Price's (and probably others) efforts during the transition.

I ran into JC and Pry last night at PKs and they left around 5, or so. I guess they left and went straight recruiting from there.

Etd: JC is quite the sociable guy. Hung out at our table for 5 minutes to indulge a few of us.
