Wow, sounds like a veteran team with a sophomore stepping up big time. Thanks for sharing. Congrats to the team!
George Washington University shot a +79 for the tournament and one of their individual players shot a +43π
Ouch.
Also saw the one that shot 71-87. That'll make you go bat crap crazy.
Scores like that are making me thing "Damn, I still got 4 years of eligibility".
This tournament was really weak but a win is a winπ
While we are on the topic of hokies golf. Shout out to the women's golf team for finishing 5th in a really tough tourney including having a better team score than Number 11 Tennessee and number 14 Texas Tech and as well as finishing as the best acc team in the field over Clemson Notre Dame and NC Stateπ
The difference in the top two teams and everyone else was shocking.
Yeah that's usually how NCAA golf works
There are 4 scores that count each round, with 3 rounds played, so 12 scores toward the total final number. 13 shots between 2nd and third is a single stroke per player per round.
Must of been nice going into final day with a 17 stroke team lead.
Incredible picture
Yeah, honestly the photo was the only reason I saw the tweet. I was jealous, no lie, remembering my years in Savannah.
