LETS GO!!!

HOKIES!!!

So sick of these grayscale videos we put out. Did my best to do a quick fix in crappy quality I downloaded from Twitter.

(I know this edit isn't from VT but the fact we even put out footage that looks like this is embarrassing)

That looks like his Twitter not the team's.

The OP acknowledged that.

I like them both. Not everything needs to pop. I usually agree with your video rants though.

You're right in that not everything needs to pop.

However, the picture profile that VT used to shoot video is intended to be color corrected and graded. It's only that washed out in order to preserve highlights and shadows, but whoever edits VT's videos doesn't understand that.

Not trying to humble brag with all this, I just know this because I shoot the same way.

Thanks for taking the time to care about this! It's a very small thing in the larger picture, but to me it points to the large gaps in the VT Athletic Dept. The world of college sports has changed so much and we can't even get the little (read free or cheap) things right. Given this it's not a surprise that we can't recruit, game plan, etc.

Yep, it's even more glaring considering the only other school I see ever do this is Missouri. Also inexplicable. Damon Hazelton hasn't gotten proper video since he left Ball State.

That's what's up!!

Really hope he gets to run rampant next year. Glad he's decided to stay.

Good deal. I hope he gets his leg right and can produce to the tune of what he is capable. I absolutely expected him to be the top guy and Herbert blew away my expectations. I think Blackshear is capable of similar production when you combine the running and passing game.

Five star get after it 100 percent Juice Key-Playing. MAN

He had so many broken tackles, so many negative yard runs that he turned to get 1-2 yards on. He was as shifty a back as we've hade in a long long time. I kept waiting for him to just break an opponents back with some 3rd down conversation that they should have stopped for a 3 yard loss that he went 71 yards to the house. I can't wait to see that happen this next season.

As a RB, i think he's at least as good or better than McClease. As a slot guy, we really did a poor job figuring out how to free him up in space. Rutgers did a better job utilizing his skills.

If we can get better with his package of slot plays, he could have a big year.

OUCH!

Ut Prosim Ad Dei Gloriam

To be fair, Rutgers didn't have Herbert, so they had to rely on Blackshear.

...shear

We put the K in Kwality

I'm glad he's coming back, but he cannot be our #1 guy next year unless he improves significantly. He was our third best running back last season (Holsten was certainly better at running hard and making defenders miss) and hardly contributed to the pass game at all (almost half his receiving yards came on that hail mary against Clemson).

I don't want him in the backfield at all. His greatest strength is as a slot receiver. Get the ball to him in open space.

Get this man in some space. Hoping for a big year for this man.

The near TD against Wake was oh so close to being a sweet play. Hope he gets more chances next season on plays like that.
