All the best to Richt.

He struggled to speak at times on the ACC network last year so I guess this explains why.

He is a good man. I hope he will be able to enjoy his sunset before the night falls.

When I read the headline I was not surprised at all. I wish him the best.

Same. That could explain a lot of what I thought was otherwise inattentiveness during the ACCN live broadcasts. Could also explain why he stepped down at UM after a very short tenure.

That was my thought as well about the strange timing for him stepping away from Miami. Could have had diagnosis and not made it public until the symptoms were more apparent.

I thought Miami was he would have had to fire his son. And he didn't want to do that.

My first awareness of him was his cameo appearance in the movie "Facing the Giants" which I liked a lot. I have respected him ever since (despite his tenure coaching at miami) and wish him the best.

Parkinson's sucks. Good vibes to him and his family.

Parkinson's...vibes...

Pun intended?

Terrible news. Mark was always a respectable guy from my experiences. That is a diagnosis no one wants. I hope he can get some good treatment for the symptoms and have a good ride to the end.

Mark Richt is a damn good man. Prayers and best wishes to him as he faces this challenge.

I've always really liked him, even at Miami I found it tough to hate him as a coach. Here's to you coach richt

He said give to me Roscoe

There were a lot tweets about Richt being drunk on air last year. Definitely makes those tweets look stupid in hindsight. This explains the movements, slow slurring speech and such. Best of luck to him as he manages this debilitating disorder.
