After a eye opening series win against #6 Miami The hokies got rewarded this week being ranked 24# in the D1 college baseball poll. It's the first time ranked since the hokies hosted a regional and the first ranked in any poll since 2015 after they got off to an 10-1 start. Baseball America poll is more complementary on the hokies having them at #16

I do not post much but I read all the time. I would like to thank you and the other guys that post with updates on Tech's "other" sports. I really appreciate the information you guys provide. Finally had a block of time to go to ESPN on demand and watch game 3 vs Miami. That was a good game. If you have not seen it you should give it a go. Enjoyed the way the Miami announcers gradually went from singing Miami's praises to giving us a whole lot of credit.

Just to give people a Waring. This baseball season is gonna be long and I know we just got a big series win the ACC is stacked from top to bottom. So don't be surprised if we take a series from a top 25 team but also don't be surprised if Pitt or BC or ND beats us in a series
check. its baseball... having a complete flub for a couple series is nothing in the grand scheme. One of the reasons I love this sport so much is that it takes a whole lot of screw-ups to derail a season, unlike football where you can end your championship hopes in a single week.

Sad to say i completely forgot about it this afternoon. Admittedly Hokie Baseball has not been appointment viewing in... forever(?) I think the last game I saw on TV was our (very) brief appearance in the CWS a few years ago.
Not seeing anything on my schedule tomorrow afternoon though... sunday afternoon baseball sounds like a plan for me!
