The Lady Hokies BB team just crushed GW at GW winning against the team, the officials, and the announcers.
Kitley had a career high 34 points and sat almost the entire 4th quarter. BTW: GW had 38 team points.
Great play by all.
Let's keep supporting the Ladies. I would love to see some sold out games for them this year.

When Kitley was subbed out with 5:45 to go in the game, she had scored her 34th point.
Through 34:15, it took the entire George Washington team to beat her by one point.

Heard from a GW fan at the game that it was brutal to watch
It was the announcers and refs both didn't like us and Kitley responded by stomping them flat. She was on fire with 17/21 shooting for 34 points. They pulled her for most of the 4th quarter one rebound short of a double double.

I had to catch the game on replay last night. My thoughts:
The officials were really letting them play. We adjusted to it.
The GW announcers were homing so hard it got funny as VT pulled away.
We will not lose a game where Kitley shoots like that.
I thought there would be more Hokie fans at the game, but the broadcast team did a nice job of miking the GW cheerleaders to make it seem like there were more people cheering for GW.
Our X's and O's on defense are not as good as our talent.
Great team win! We are really fun to watch. FAM!!!
