big blow to a defense that has been putting in an admirable performance to try to keep us in games (and is quite frankly better than i expected it to be). Depth is now razor thin

No real update on CB Jermaine Waller, who was in a walking boot for the second half of the Pitt game. Fuente still doesn't think it's a long-term thing, but he's not sure yet.

Tough break for both young men. By all accounts Hunter had worked really hard to get back into playing shape and contribute this year, and Dean Ferguson was just breaking through as a rotation guy who was getting real snaps in important games.

November 2011 after 38-0 for me...we were #5 and looking at a ACC title. Would find a way for Sammy Watkins to trip down a dark stairway and lock O'Cain and Stinespring in a closet just before the game.

We're coming up on a complete decade of mostly average Hokie football...ugh.

Has Hunter even seen the field this year? It sucks he turned out to be such a non-contributor over his career

Hunter started the UNC game, played 2 plays and was replaced. Saw backup duty in the Middle Tenn St game. And has seen special team duty; not sure if all season, but at least recently.
