Thought this was pretty good, Brent Pry has all that media-facing energy that CJF could never muster, and I think that matters nowadays more than ever.
Also liked the facilities tour, they should let Hoke Club members pay to hang out in that lounge, looks like a good time.

For those like me that missed the full episode last night and didn't record it, according to the ESPN app it is re-airing at 6pm today.
Edit: apparently this is the full episode. Hopefully they just put all of the ACCN content on YouTube to make our lives a little easier.

Definitely worth watching, it was cool seeing Eddie back on campus and the facilities tour definitely jumped out to me. It feels like we have finally modernized the program to some degree. I wish they would have spent more time with the assistant coaches. I need to catch up on the videos VT has been putting on YouTube that focus on them.
Thought it was a good capsule of camp, for the most part. The grilling segment was pretty lame and forced, but the rest was good.
But, but...

Just grilled my Indian-spiced burgers and kielbasa yesterday. Apologies to Hank Hill, but charcoal all the way!
Kielbasa topped with my sautéed onion, red bell pepper (normally use green, but the one I just bought was bad, sigh), Habanero pepper and garlic mix. With the dual red pepper and no green, I'm calling it my red alert kielbasa topping.
I thought the grilling segment was pretty good. It was funny, Pry brought a lot of energy, and I like how they noted the importance of the head coach grilling at VT because of Frank's legacy.
Jordan totally checked that chick out....hahaha
What??? I really thought this was an awful show. CBP was gold and Eddie was cool and very strong on the culture change.
But the rest of this show was trash. Our local high school A\V club could have put out something more entertaining. The interviews were terrible the practice clips even worse. There was very little football content at all. And let's be honest, Packer is even more of a dope with out Wes Durham to balance out his inanity. Kelsey Riggs has done some interesting pieces in the past, but her stuff just was not entertaining and had no substance at all.
The worst part was the fake grilling bit. Pry is a riot, but the whole thing was so awkward. For god's sakes, the grills weren't even turned on. Week Sauce!!!
Ranting aside, it is no wonder the ACC network can only get advertisers that are worse versions of Ron Popeil. By far it's the lowest quality network in the Power 5.
Honestly I'm so glad football is back, but IMHO this show was horrid!!!

I agree. Packer was annoying to watch and just cringey. Everything was so scripted and then they tried to pretend like it wasn't scripted.
Everything Packer said during the grilling segment sounded like a used car salesman. No substance to the point of being annoying.
I mean you can dig on ACCN for this but this segement is pretty similar to all ESPN college/preseason segments they're all usually pretty bad.
That being said I'll take all the Pry content I can get.
This. Watching our game with my UGA alum spouse is an endurance of his amusement with our Ktel level ad breaks. Then we watch his game and it's all A-list sponsors.
That said, that screw-in led light cluster for those dark areas of the house like the attic was tempting....
I have a version of that for my garage and love it... got it randomly on amazon before seeing the accn ad though
I got mine at Costco on a deal and they're so awesome. It came in a 2 pack for the garage and it lights it up brighter than day light.
Picked up one of the LED light things for the garage while I was walking through home depot. Turns the garage uncomfortably bright, and still works like 3 years later even though I can't ever get Mrs. Smlltwnsothrnlwyr to turn the garage lights off.
10/10, would buy again.
As an allman brothers fan, coach pry gets 4 years to right this ship. I have faith, i like his style, and i like what I hear on this teams new identity. Punch the other team in the mouth and see how they respond. This is the identity that Frank and bud built, win or lose - create adversity for the opposing team , and see how they respond.
I love the Allman Brothers Band as well...
But I please, reporters, its been done. We get it, Pry likes the Allman Brothers. Move on, its not a scoop anymore.
There's got to be some other things to focus on at this point. I shouldn't complain about ANY good press, but more substance, less fluff...
Eddie has a million dollar smile and despite being the least seasoned, seemed the most natural presenting to camera.
The Pry-ing for information was cringe AF. She didn't need the bit and she didn't need to pretend to randomly meet players around the performance center. Just do it straight and talk to everyone directly.
BUT overall it was a nice show and really fun to watch some VT material again.
We were horribly glossed over last year. It's good to see some small enthusiasm from the Mouse.
I was going to say something similar. I'd rather have a cheesy piece like this than nothing at all.
