If he was taller he would definitely be a 4 star
And if he was shorter, he'd be a 2 star. I'm not sure I get the point. Hasn't VT had a number of shorter 3* QBs lately who would be 4* if they were taller?
Not trying to be snarky, but genuinely interested in who you mean. From what I can remember:
Dude looks like a 4star in his junior highlights. He can sling it and he's shifty and fast runner. I'm excited bout this Pop
YOU DO THE HOKIE POKIE AND YOU BRING IN ALL THE CROOTS π¦π¦π¦π¦
So Matt Rhule tries to steal and flip Lovette and instead Lovette ends up recruiting away a QB of his.
(I know Watson committed before hiring of Rhule, but Rhule was recruiting him to stay and did an in-home visit not too long ago.)
That's what's up!
Pop, pop, pop ...
Now, go out and get some (more) wide receivers.
Maybe talk Smith into staying.
Introduce him at a home basketball game.
Have Mike Young meet him at mid-court with a couple bags of popcorn. Crowd goes nuts...
And make it Free Popcorn Night at concessions.
I think if a recruit has an official nickname they should get a 1 star bonus added to their ranking. Doesn't matter what the nickname is, just that it is official and recognized. Welcome home kid, here's to hoping you pop the top off many games in the future.
Never thought WW3 would start in Blacksburg, but now it's a very real possibility
