Really great story that came out about our men's and women's basketball team yesterday. Spent some time at the Carillon Children's Hospital painting shoes with some of the patients there.
You'll be able to see them wearing the shoes early next year.
The women's basketball coaches and staff will wear the shoes at the Jan. 12 game against Louisville in Cassell Coliseum. The men's basketball coaches and staff will wear their sneakers Jan. 28 when the Hokies host Syracuse.

Will they auction these after those games with the proceeds going to the children's hospital?
Great question. I still have a pair of golfkicks and would love to add to my golf shoe collection, especially by donating to something like this.
