I'm taking a look at my Fios package as I have some discounts set to expire this summer. The main reason I have the TV package is for local channels and sports.
Right now, I have the "Extreme TV HD" package, and I'm covered when it comes to college football games - all of the ESPN and Fox Sports channels, CBS Sports Network, and the RSNs. The tricky channel there is CBS Sports Network, which has a habit of picking up one VT game every two or three years. Depending on the conference alignment, that could affect our ODU game.
I'm looking over the Custom TV packages, specifically the "Sports and News" package, because I could knock a few bucks off my bill.
The problem is that they don't list the RSNs in any of the custom channel packages, but I'm pretty sure they still have the RSN fees attached. Anyone have experience with the custom packages and know if the RSNs are actually included?
Of course it would be the RSNs causing a pain in the butt....
